Joanna Java

I really don’t believe that people are what they do- but in my case what I do really marks who I am. I live in the mountainous jungle of Thailand in a small village. When asked what I do my politically correct version- I am a community developer of a non profit organization. My spelling of that last word indicated I am from the States.

I equip, encourage, and empower the KaRen church through community development and education. Strengthening the church is my purpose. I believe that the Karen church is struggling- and I am not referring to buildings but the collective body as a whole- the people. There is great need for improved health and sanitation, education, and empowerment. This is what I am working toward. My blog is my journey with the Karen.

Be blessed-
Joanna Java
